- Are Civic Association dues mandatory?
No. Our civic asosciation is voluntary. Your support is critical to our neighorhood. Civic dues pay for community events, lawn maintenance, insurance, utilities, vandalism repairs, and community beautification for common areas

- How much are the Civic Association Dues and When are they paid?
The requested contribution is $100 payable each year. Each resident will receive a notice in the mail the first week of December , and we ask that you pay your dues by April 30th.

Checks should be made to "Mountainbrook Civic Association" and mailed to PO Box 472926, Charlotte, NC 28247-2926

- I'm not sure I paid my Civic Dues. I thought I did, but maybe that was for the pool?
Yes, that's a frequent oversight. You can check to see if you're marked as paid for the current year. Just go to the "Membership" page.

- If I join the Mountainbrook Club, am I still asked to pay the yearly MB Civic Association Dues?
Yes, (Please) if you are a residnent of MB. The Mountainbrook Club is a seperate organization. The Club is open for membership to both Mountainbrook residents and non-Mountainbrook resisents. Members of the Mountainbrook Club have priviledges to the pool and tennis courts.

- What is the pet policy at the Anne Heinig Park?
All pets must be on leash per the county leash law. Neighbors should call 311 to report pets off leash.

- What schools are we zoned?
For 2000 - 2010 Generally speaking, Moutainbrook residents are zoned Sharon Elementary, Carmel Middle, and Myers Park HS. Parents should validate the school assignments with CMS based on their specific home address. CMS website is (http://www.cms.k12.nc.us)
